🍫 🎂 Nobody knows for sure the first appearance 😋 of the cake, but it surely was not the last one. The origin of 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 is from France, some believe that it was created in Paris shop in the middle of 20th century, and others think it was created earlier. With so much history, the cake is still popular today.
🎼 ♬ The Opera itself started in Italy in 16th century partly in Florence. The Italian word Opera means to work. Perhaps, we can experience Opera in different way and yummier with Opera Cake. 😂 😋

The “Opera cake” name was given to the cake for Palais Garnier auditorium in Paris. The cake has visible layers, and it is considered that with one bite the full taste of the cake can be experienced. With three thin layers including the almond sponge cake soaked and coffee syrup, chocolate glaze top and dark chocolate ganache and other, the Opera cake has its own form and taste.

Nobody is sure of where the Opera cake appeared first. One of the places people can get the cake from is Dalloyau. Some believe the cake was created from the person who worked at the company in the middle of 20th century. The French food company started in 1682 and in about 300 years later it opened the first shop outside of France in Tokyo, Japan. Others believe the cake was shown in Paris Exposition Culinaire in 1903.

Opera is very popular with many people. And the tickets to the Opera may vary across the theaters. Metropolitan Opera Ticket prices can be $300 and higher on average in NYC. In Italy, the famous La Scala tickets run even more in 100s and 1,000s of euros on average. The La Scala theatre opened in 1778. The first production in La Scala was named Europe Revealed. There are lower priced version of tickets that include seating further from the Opera scene.

While Opera comes from Italy and Opera cake from France, these countries have a lot of interesting between them. France and Italy are one of the most known places for food and travel. These destinations have some similarities. Both economies are among the largest in Europe. People go less to Opera both tourists and domestically as unemployment in Italy is at 9.6% and in France at 9%. Both countries have more than 60 million in population, and even more tourists come there in general each year. For example, France welcomed about 90 million tourists in 2019, but expects to have much smaller number in 2020. Euro is a currency unit in both France and Italy, EUR/USD currency par is near 1.20 US dollars for one euro recently.
